My path...

From a small child watching my dad work with the wood, installed a love and appreciation from an early age for this natural wonder...

As in my early teens I adopted an empty outbuilding at my parents house, no bigger than 5 feet square... I knew with this space I can create...

I worked and saved to purchase my first wood turning lathe, now I felt I was in the game... I made various pieces but mainly specialised in creating tables and small furniture... The money I made got reinvested in more tools,

I had found my happy place ...

After I felt I had things up and running, my Dad introduced me to a master carpenter and carver in the local village... he also made tables but specialised in carving, he was also a master on a lathe... he changed my way of thinking and my depth of knowledge grew to the next level...

At the same time of all this I was also training to become a hairdresser and barber another creative avenue which i really enjoyed for the next 7 years...

Years on I created a joinery and building company called Evolve, we are still running Evolve and have a good reputation.

But my passion and dream was to recreate that energy I had in that small outbuilding ... this is where my new business was created... it was a big risk with everything to loose, but my passion and creativity gave me the confidence and assurance that this can't fail...

About the products...

Every piece I make is individual, no two pieces are the same, there's no machine pumping out manufactured square lumps that's been squashed glued and set, everything here is unique, made one at a time with our bare hands, hours of love and care...
All of our timber is carefully chosen, we only use the most super premium selection from sustainable sources...

Every component on our products have been designed and hand made by local craftsmen...

My passion for adventure...

From an early age my dad introduced me and my brother to all kinds of sports, from mountain climbing, windsurfing, wave surfing, mountain biking, but the one that stuck was kayaking... we were all in a local club and took part in competitive slalom and river racing...
As a teen I turned up alone at the local climbing wall, as it was always something I wanted to do, they took me under their wing and showed me the ropes...
We went together on adventures every weekend all over the uk where we wild camped or slept in barns, anyplace that would have us... later the club dissipated and everyone went their own way, I needed direction... I met a friend who worked for the police force who invited me to climb in the French alps.. I couldn't say no. I trained hard everyday for a year to climb the biggest mountain there Mont Blanc... this guy took me under his wing and looked after me the whole trip... from then on I got my best pal interested in climbing and we climbed usually the alps in summer, and the winter in Scotland or frozen waterfalls in the famous Rujken valley Norway ... it was in Norway that I began to notice the simplicity of the way they lived, which I've taken and tried to incorporate into my work..
As I'm getting no younger and still have a keen interest in travelling, I've recently replaced my climbing trips with motorbike trips far less hardship on my body but still get to travel, get inspired and see new things...
